The story so far ... it's getting B$

spent about 48 hours in transit: 9 hours in Rome, about 12 hours at Sao Paulo airport (including an unnecessary terminal roundtrip with bus). Too much stuff or too small backpacks - which ever way you want to see it! 😉 Finally landed in Manaus. Strolled through the city, heard "silent night, holy night" for the first time at the 7th of Dec and saw giant plastic Christmas tree and fake snow (foam) as well as Santa Claus' house (so he doesn't live in Finland but in Brazil! 😉 ) - spend 3 days and 4 nights in the jungle, which was very impressive! Saw grey and pink river dolphins, piranhas, toads and kaimans. Could have been more but it was great fun and next time (whenever that will be though🙈) I plan to go in the wet season. Mosquitos were not too bad as long as you didn't use your headlight in the dark - then they eat you and you on the other hand eat a lot of them! So far too that, next time about the boat trip from Manaus to Belem.

Good-bye Austria, good-bye snow. 😉

A day at the airport - exciting! 🙈

Meeting of the two rivers that form the Amazon river.

Sun sets

Plate and spoon - 100 % organic 😊

Praliné of the jungle - filled with yummy coconut filling. Kind of at least! 😄

And if there's no worms and stuff than let's have fish.

Mangos fresh from the tree! *yummy*
